Venison Sausage Breakfast Burrito main dish game  Recipe

Breakout from those old, boring breakfast foods! Check out the rich and earthy flavors of venison sausage wrapped up in a tasty burrito. Spice things up with a little hot sauce or fresh avocado to just grab it & go! Start your day off on the right foot with a good meal from Carolina Cooker®.

Ingredients:

Yields 4 burritos
Substitute Protein: Pork Sausage
  • 1 venison sausage
  • 6 eggs (whipped)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cups shredded potatoes (frozen hash browns)
  • 2 cups shredded smoked Gouda or cheddar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Carolina Cooker® Hot Sauce

Directions:

  1. Preheat your Carolina Cooker® flat top griddle. Once hot add oil and place sausage on the cook top. While the sausage is cooking, mix up the onions and potatoes and cook until crispy on the griddle.
  2. Once sausage and potatoes are ready. Place eggs on the griddle season with salt and pepper and scramble.
  3. At this point you can mix all ingredients and set to the side. Place tortillas on the griddle to heat up slightly. Put cheese on tortilla and fill tortilla with sausage mix. Wrap and serve.
