Shrimp Fried Rice main dish seafood Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe

Made with a blend of fresh grated garlic & ginger, our version of fried rice is perfect for lunch, dinner or your new go-to side dish. A must for anyone who loves Asian cuisine, this recipe offers up beautiful colors & golden rice. With a balance of Carolina Cooker® seasonings & succulent shrimp, we think you'll agree this tastes better than takeout!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup diced Carrots
  • 1 cup diced Scallions
  • 1 cup Peas
  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp grated Garlic
  • 1 tbsp grated Ginger
  • 4 cups cooked Rice
  • 3 Eggs beaten

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat and add shrimp
  2. Allow to saute for 2-3 minutes on one side and flip. Saute for an additional 2-3 minutes and remove to a bowl.
  3. Add carrots and scallions to the skillet and saute
  4. Once carrots are almost cooked through, add in eggs and stir to scramble
  5. Once eggs start to come together add rice in and stir well
  6. As the rice starts to toast, add in sugar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and peas and stir
  7. When everything is warm and combined, top with shrimp and serve
