Ingredients:
- 2 cups lukewarm water, between 90°-110°F (30°-40°C)
- 1 envelope active dry yeast
- 4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
- 1½ teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
Directions:
- Mix together all ingredients and let rise overnight in a covered glass bowl
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees while slowly pouring the bread mixture into your Carolina Cooker® dutch oven
- Let the bread bake for 30 minutes covered with the cast iron lid, then the last 15 minutes uncovered to crisp the exterior crust
- Once you can stick a fork into the bread and it comes out clean - You're ready to enjoy fresh homemade bread!
