14 Quart Cast Iron Pot and Burner Set with Stand

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loves it! He's made crackling, eggs, potatoes, zucchini, pork steak, ribeye and that was in 3 days!

Not only did my box come very badly beaten and broken but so was my pot. Thank god the handle broke before I put hot grease and food in it. The handle was broken, brand new, straight out the packaging.

Such a neat set up. I have had mine for nine years and it has been a joy to use every time. I cook Chicken Bog in mine. I can put 4 whole chickens in it and feed 30 people out of it.

I haven't used it yet, but it's a very nice setup. It'd be cool if it came with a paddle and a strainer cuz you're gonna need 'em. I'm a big fan of cast iron, and this pot and lid are nice. I'm gonna make a hoop for mine, so I can hang it over a tripod. It already has legs, so you can set it in a cold bed. There's bigger pots out there, but I can't imagine I'll ever need one. I think i'm also going to make one of those t shaped hooks that allows you to remove the lid easily without burning yourself.

I couldn't be more displeased with the overall workmanship and lacking quality control of this Carolina Cooker brand. The first stew pot stand I purchased looked like the leaning tower of Pisa - the legs were welded on crooked, their was no concentric uniformity to the pot ring. The whole unit was just a slop job, therefore I returned it to the Greenville NC store for a replacement cooking unit. One of the store clerks brought a pallet load of the cookers to the pickup point. Brand new--straight from the manufacturer, the box packaging was so lacking internal buffers / paddings that many of the legs were protruding inches through the bottoms of their boxes although the entire pallet was wrapped in shrink wrap. That was red light number one. I knew if that was the case already, the cookers were going to be worst than the one I had just returned. I made sure to open the boxes and check them one by one....and they were. They looked like they had been welded by grade school shop class. Crooked legs, splattered welds, leaning significantly. I did manage to find one that had a decent stand but it's pot was terrible. The eyelets on the side of the pot looked like someone had splatter welded with their eyes closed and were in a drunken stupor. I'm not exaggerating, it was bad. I swapped that pot for the one that I had brought in and managed to piece together a decent cooking unit. Very displeased. Poor workmanship...extremely poor...no quality oversight and to add insult to injury, Agri Supply is accepting these subpar units. What a shame.
