It is specifically made to fit burner and can also be used with some older-style tobacco barn burners commonly found in traditional heating and agricultural setups. For users needing additional compatibility, this adapter can be converted to accept a 3/8 inch flare hose end when used with (3/8 inch x 3/8 inch half union) and (3/8 inch coupling).
