Beer Butt Chicken on the Kamado

For a fall off the bone perfect chicken, use this recipe on our Kamado Grill and grill to perfection.

Prep: 15 minutes Cook: 2-4 hours Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

1 whole chicken
1 stick of butter
1 can of your favorite Carolina Cooker® seasoning
1 bottle of your favorite Carolina Cooker® sauce
1 can of your beer of choice

Directions

Step 01: Lather butter all over and inside the skin of a whole chicken.
Step 02: Coat chicken liberally with your favorite rub.
Step 03: Add one of your favorite beers to use as a chicken stand.
Step 04: Cook chicken at 250°F to 300°F. Internal temperature should be 165°F.
Step 05: Coat chicken with your favorite Carolina Cooker® sauce.
Step 06: Pull chicken and enjoy.
