Reverse Sear Steak

We know there's a lot of ways to cook a steak, but if you want the juiciest cut of meat with complete control over the internal temp, then the reverse sear steak method is our go-to suggestion. Compliment a great steak with herbs, butter and garlic in this recipe by Carolina Cooker.

Ingredients

  • Ribeye
  • Garlic
  • Thyme
  • Rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 250.
  2. Season steak with salt and place on wire rack inside a baking sheet and into oven for approx. 25min.
  3. Heat skillet on high heat.
  4. Remove steak from oven, add grapeseed oil to pan and sear steak for about 1 min.
  5. Flip steak and add butter, herbs and garlic.
  6. Baste for another 1-2 min.
  7. Remove from heat and allow steak to rest for 10 min. before serving.
