Quick Venison Burritos
You’ve never had a burrito like this. Creamy beans and cheese with rich venison flavors will make this meal a wrap - literally! Use one of our discadas and discada stand for this game changing recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Venison or lean beef
- 1-2 cans of refried beans
- 2-3 cups shredded Mexican cheese
- 8-10 flour tortillas (1 pack)
- 1/4 cup diced jalapenos (1 large pepper)
- 2 TBSP fresh minced parsley
- 1 TBSP fresh minced cilantro
- 1 TBSP Carolina Cooker Cajun Seasoning
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1 TBSP minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to tast
- 2 TBSP cooking oil
Directions
- Heat oil in your discada over medium heat.
- Once oil is hot, add onions and sauté about 1 min, then add ground venison or beef and stir to combine.
- Once mixed, add inCarolina Cooker Cajun seasoning along with salt, pepper and cumin
- When the meat has almost cooked through, add in garlic and jalapenos
- When the meat has browned add in cilantro, parsley, baked beans and cheese and stir to combine and turn off heat
- Form a burrito by adding your mixture to the center of a tortilla, folding in opposite ends and rolling. Serve with avocado and lime on the side
