How to Cook Rice in the Charleston Rice Cooker

1. Boil Water
   Add 8 cups of water to the main pot (with handles) and place it on the stove to bring to a boil.
2. Prepare the Rice
   Add your desired amount of rice to the steamer insert. Pour in water at a ratio of 1.5 cups of water for every 1 cup of rice.
   Note: Adjust the water ratio based on the rice variety if needed.
3. Insert the Steamer
   Once the water in the main pot is nearly boiling, carefully place the steamer insert into the pot. Cover with the lid. Use heat-resistant gloves or mitts for safety.
4. Steam the Rice
   Allow the rice to steam for about 10 minutes, then begin checking for doneness. Continue cooking until the desired texture is achieved.
5. Finish and Serve
   Remove from heat, carefully lift out the insert, and serve the rice warm.
