Waxed Stew Pot, 90 Gallon With Stand

Our scout troop purchased one of these in 2014 for our annual Brunswick Stew fundraiser. We had been using several cast iron pots in the past which involved varying the recipe for size of the pot, and keeping three fires properly stoked. I seasoned the pot using a method I found online in which the pot is suspended upside down with chains over a propane burner. After burning it out and thoroughly cleaning it, the seasoning process began. It's nice and thick, so the stew doesn't scorch on the bottom. The size of the thing gets a lot of attention from passers by. This year's stew yielded 334 quarts. You can't beat this pot for the price, and the people at Ag Supply are good to deal with.

We purchased the 90 gal cast iron stew pot about 5 years ago. We've made many stews out of it. Every fall, people begin asking when are we having our stew. It's a huge success. The pot is made of cast iron. Not too thick but just right to hold heat and cook a delicious stew. I highly recommend this product. You won't be disappointed!!
